A Taiwanese sweets brand’s first location in Japan, the Minami-Aoyama store, was designed by world-renowned architect Kengo Kuma. The light that streams into the space’s interlocking wooden structure evokes sunlight filtering through the trees in a forest, gently enveloping visitors in a sense of calm. The signature pineapple cake is the physical embodiment of the brand’s desire for “truly delicious things.” Using a native Taiwanese fruit known for its distinct tartness, the simple flavor is crafted without unnecessary additives and is beloved by people of all ages.
