ロメロが若い時期は貧しく、 キャンバスを買うお金もなく、このように新聞紙に好きな絵を描き続けていました。その頃へ郷愁を感じさせる秀逸の一品です。
Romero was poor in his youth, lacking even the money to buy canvases, so he continued to draw his artworks on newspaper. This excellent piece evokes nostalgia for that time.

Romero Britto, born on October 6, 1963, is a Brazilian-born artist,
painter, serigrapher, and sculptor based in Miami,USA.
He combines elements of Cubism, Pop Art, and graffiti painting in his works, using vibrant colors and bold patterns as a visual expression of hope, dreams, and happiness.
