6世紀の初め、修道士が羊皮紙に聖句を書き写し、それを紐でまとめたものが初期の本だといわれている。そしてそんな本は、いまも当たり前のようにある。知識を伝え、広め、暮らしを豊かにしてきた本。しかし、その在り方や環境は、時代とともに変化している。本に新しい価値を与える、いまの本屋さんにお話をうかがった今号の「yoff」。みなさんが本を読むきっかけになれば嬉しいです。
